The Positives and Negatives of Ionized Water According to WSJ

About a year ago the WSJ posted the following article,
It would be hard to improve the healthfulness or cleaning power of water without adding any chemicals or supplements to it. But companies are claiming to do just that by "ionizing" water.
Companies are selling machines that put drinking water through an "ionization" process. According to the companies, the process, also called "electrolysis," is accomplished using negatively and positively charged electrodes. In the process, water atoms give electrons to the electrodes or receive them, according to a graphic on Chanson Water USA Inc.'s website. The result is a chemical reaction that results in water becoming more acid or alkaline. Tap water typically has a pH of around 7, or neutral; alkaline water has a pH of more than 7; acidic water, less than 7.
Read the rest of the story here if you would like, but be sure to read the following comments from a user of the ionized water.

Comments that challenge the article...
I would certainly have expected more from WSJ than this poorly researched article. There is substantial evidence available including hundreds of case studies that support the use of Kangen water for many situations, allowing the body to concentrate on healing as opposed to filtering and restructuring normal water which does not present as readily usable by our bodies.

Those of us whom embrace this wonderful technology, used for decades in Japan, in many ways,, to name a few...such as taxi cabs in way of air sanitation/purifiers, on farms to keep livestock and fowl healthy, golf courses for beautiful lawns and environmentally friendly pest control in gardens, used in the food industry for prevention of food borne illnesses with fresh and raw fish and other food services, not to mention in over 250 hospitals and endorsed by over 6500 physicians as mainstream alternative to our "take a pill for every ill" philosophy of medical care. Didn't see any references to the many physicians whom are not on Enagic's advisory board whom advocate the use of Kangen water and have written books and articles. Ray Zurwell, the award winning scientist also comes to mind. This information is out there. Of course we will run in to Mr. Lower's snake oil website. He's of course, not a credible source of anything other than his own opinions. And if we were to consider that as basis, we have THOUSANDS of happy Kangenized AMERICANS right here in the USA that are witness to the benefits of this life changing water. What about the wonderful global environmental accolades Enagic has received, where was mention of this?

I'd not want to be the person who didn't encourage a parent of a child needing a healthy resource for so many challenges these children face that were not commonplace 25 years ago. Autism, ADD, Acid Reflux to name a few. There are many case studies showing this water's ability to help our bodies heal and address these issues offering relief and in some cases complete recovery. My family has experienced this first hand. I did my own research before seeking out this technology and am happy to report it lived up to it's credible reputation and my "expensive" investment, paid for itself in the first year with the money I saved from , bottled water, house cleaners, pesticides, expensive beauty products, elimination of prescription medicines and food that lasts twice as long because the harmful chemicals can be removed, etc.

If you have a child that's suffering, please feel free to reach out to me and I will put you in touch with a resource who will be happy to share this life changing water with you. We all pay it forward, it's our philosophy to spread true health to the world. Would challenge anyone to argue with that.
